President Trump signed the Emergency FMLA Expansion Act and the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act into law last night, March 18, 2020. The acts will go into effect on April 2, 2020. They will remain effective until December 31, 2020. There is also a tax credit for businesses providing leave under the acts.
